Christian Morant, author of the critically acclaimed book GROWTH, is an East Coast-based professional spoken word artist and lyricist most known for his enthralling level of poetry and advocacy on mental health. Beyond writing, music, modeling, and acting, Christian frequently performs at New York’s legendary Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the varied intimate spaces of SoFar Sounds, and has featured for Philly’s internationally curated Voices In Power events. Born and raised in Charleston, South Carolina he's had the good fortune of sharing his work throughout England and Canada as well. He's also teamed up with the exceptionally talented filmmaker Jackson Bailes in producing an ongoing live studio series where they highlight raw performances from various artists to include himself, Emily Curtis, Michael Duff, Coast Records, and many more. Christian's proudest milestone however, apart from his book, is embracing the TEDx stage at the iconic Charleston Music Hall along with the release of his tribute to his grandparents called "The Greatest Showman" featuring Jenn Bedell & Lubomir Rzepka.
